Doing exactly the way you were taught to do during training camp sales. He used the household broom to collect fine dust particles in the pan and smiled to their customers by giving them "the smile".
His first sale was practically in the bag.

Those two months in the Sierra Nevada with his fellow recruits sales and sales of hard-nosed trainer was the most grueling, hellish, stressful period of his young life he would never happen again. He was also a time when he loved, and would do again if given the option.
He had learned much about himself there.
Others have not been so lucky and had cracked with all the stress. The instructors were ruthless and demanding, hell bent on breaking you. There was no evidence of physical skill and mental ability that were designed to cut the cheese mold. Then, those who were willing and fit enough to pass the first round had to face Sales feared situations that could crack the toughest of the eggs. He'd even seen as a guy with bad luck suffered a severe crisis during the infamous broom collector and the test had to be taken to the asylum on the road. Half of the recruits, he did not.
It was the way to Fuller Brush.
Now, here he was at the field with his perfect pitch and "smile" dominated, doing exactly as he had been punched in it innumerable times by instructors screaming.
"So how many can I count on you for what?" He asked, as he carried the dust particles laden with bread for the couple and I was skeptical of them.
This was the part where the couple now believe they can not live without this fantastic house broom, broke up to two dozens of them. She waited, expectant smile on your site.
"It's still stuck in the broom and dustpan test," the woman with the glasses and a white coat, said to his companion.
