I think it's just an accoustic otherwise it would say electric/accoustic. But, im not sure. Fenders a good product. I really like alvarez myself. It's less expensive. But depending on what type of music you are playing makes a difference in what sort of sound you want out of your guitar. like country/folk/rock.
preamp? maybe thats the electric part?
