What do you need (Tack Wise) for Western Riding?
I'm an english rider.
And have honestly, in my 16 years of experience with horses I have never picked up on western.
My friend is looking for Western Tack and I told her I'd research pricing for her.
Now I just need to know the basic pieces to western tack,
Bridle,
Girth,
Stirrups,
Saddle,
Reins.
Anything else?
Of course the basics.
It will be used for Trail Riding.

I know all the basics.

The brest thing - thats new to me.Okay good,
Saddle Pad, Breast Collar! (always have a breast collar when riding western on trails, your saddle can slip and the one thing that saves you is a breast collar) Sport Boots, Bell Boots (if you choose), Saddle Bags (for long trail rides).
