Need help with my horse, eventing?!?
Hello, my horse is beautiful and I love him very much, we do British Eventing and does great dressage and jumping always clear, yet slightly xc little green, but not perform well when training xc easilly can skip intro and that's what I'm doing, but, when you leave the start box in competitions napps to return to the other horses and I can not get it out its so anoying and foward any embarasing can help me on how to prevent front my leg? (I am only 14!)
I a suggestion … see if you can wait your turn only, not standing with the other horses, he has just come through the door right when you enter is supposed to feel comfortable looking the other horses and prefer to stay alone with them … they are herd animals and is only doing what is normal for him. Another thing, you know you will do this, so start early to anticipate and correct as he can feel frustrated to … or even before … maybe you can use the crop to just get your mind before they even show signs of doing so … Hope this helps and good luck
