Devon-Aire All Pro Riding Breeches?
Should i get these breeches?
http://www.doversaddlery.com/product.asp?pn=X1-35377
I want breeches for HOT weather. ![]()
And also- what color should i get them if I wanted to use them for show? ![]()
thanks
The link doesn't work for me but....
If you were to use them for show,
I suggest a lighter colour, like cremeish.
Which would mean you wouldn't use them for just everyday riding.
Perhaps getting two pairs, one for showing and one for riding.

The Rewards of Buying Air Tickets to Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka, described as the tear drop in the Indian Ocean, mesmerises visitors with its abundant charms. Besides the natural jewels such as pristine beaches, lush tropical jungles, and looming mountain peaks, Sri Lanka has a lot else to offer as well. The country is also a treasure trove of fantastic archaeological sites. As far as cuisine goes, travelers can expect the best of fiery local fare as well as a world of multi ethnic culinary delights.
Before you read on to know the many reasons to pick air tickets to Sri Lanka, note that travellers from UK can find some of the best and cheap deals on flights to Sri Lanka from London Heathrow due to high number of airlines operating from this airport.
Ancient Monuments
Sri Lanka is full of wonderful historical monuments and other landmarks. These are mainly centred in the ancient cities of Aluvihara, Anuradhapura, Dambula, Mihintale, and Sigiriya. It is noteworthy that Anuradhapura was the first Sri Lankan capital and symbolised Sinhalese supremacy. As such, it has many surviving historical reminders that draw one and all.
Beaches
Sri Lanka's palm fringed beaches offer the perfect sun, sand, and surf experience. Besides sunbathing and swimming spots, the beaches also double up as cricket play grounds, which is somewhat of an obsession in the country. Some of the most popular beaches are Arugam Bay, Bentota, Beruwela, Galle, Hikkaduwa, Mount Lavinia, and Negombo.
Waterfalls
There are numerous cascading waterfalls to be found in Sri Lanka's towering mountain slopes, deep forests, and valleys. These waterfalls are powerful tourist magnets. The prominent ones are Bambarakande Falls, Bopath Falls, Devon Falls, Diyaluma Falls, Elgin Falls, Laxapana Falls, Nawarathna Falls, Kirindi Oya Falls, Nawarathna Falls, and St. Claire Falls.
Sigiriya
Sigriya, a crucial Buddhist site has magnificent remains of a royal fortress and a city dating back to 477 AD. It stands tall on an immense rock formation, which soars some 600 ft over the plain. The huge carving of a lion's jaw serves as the only mode of entrance to the city. Fabulous symmetrical water gardens and rock painting dating back to the 5th Century are further attractions here. Sigiriya is just about 161 km from Colombo and Colombo remains well served with plenty of airlines operating flights to Sri Lanka.
Yala National Park
The Yala National Park encompasses open parkland, beaches, lakes, jungles, and rivers. It is the oldest protected zone in the country and home to a myriad array of fauna life including leopards, sloth, wild boars, spotted deer, sambhur, monkeys, porcupines, crocodiles, as well as a variety of birds. Wild elephants remain the most visible of the jungle denizens. The Magul Maha Vihara ruins are also part of the park.
