Cleaning Leather Bridle please help?
Hey, I'm cleaning this old leather bridle, and it has rope reins. It's not real Great Condition, but it's not going to be used on a horse, I just want it since it was from my old horse. I don't know how to clean it. It has a ton of cracks, and some of the metal is rusty (can you get rid of that?) and any information someone could give would be really great, such as how to clean it, what to clean it with, and such, and any tips or anything, I would very much appriciate.

Thanks so much everyone, but I knew the thing about Saddle Soap, I guess I didn't make it clear I was wondering if anyone had a certain brand that they thought worked really good.
If you are just conditioning a single bridle, I would purchase a Bick Ultimate Travel Kit.
It comes with Bick 1, which will clean and smooth the leather, and Bick 4 which will condition and polish the leather, as well as a soft rag...for less than $6
Let the leather soak up the Bick 4 before you attempt to disassemble it for further cleaning.
Rope reins can be cleaned in the clothes washer. Put them in a lingerie bag and wash them on gentle cycle, no bleach. Allow them to hang to dry.
Rust can be removed from the bit by soaking in CLR, or other rust remover. Wipe with a little vegetable oil to stop the rust from coming back.
