Which Field Boot would you reccomend?
I'm looking for a good (but not overly expensive ) show boot for showing english pleasure. The lady in the tack store said I need a 8slim regular. So any suggestions? She said that feild boots are for hunter/jumper and pleasure types and the basic show boot is for dressage. Is that right? She had me wear a Zip Back Ariat heritage II to try on but its $250 at that tack store. Any other ideas? I saw a Saxon zip back for $65. Are they any good?
field boots are for hunter/jumper and Dress Boots are for dressage and fox hunting... boots with Full Length zippers down the back are very popular on the show circuits but i don't like how they fit and look... but that's just my personal opnion... you just need to find a boot that fits you really well... try on all the ones at the tack store and find out what you like best and then look for them used or cheeper on ebay or other sites. remember you get what you pay for and stay away from rubber or pvc ones
